New Delhi: On Thursday morning a major fire broke out in the cargo section of Indira Gandhi International Airport. Till yet no causality being reported but, damages to property worth crores is being estimated.
As per the the ground handling services company which manages cargo operations at IGI airport, the human resource department of Celebi caught a blaze around 12.45 am.
As per fire brigade officials, fire fighters received the call around 1.15 am and it took more than four hours and 33 fire tenders to fight the blaze, which was finally doused around 6.30 am.
As per officials, the first floor of the cargo building which has the offices of the HR department of Celebi and of 10 airlines was completely burned.
